چکیده

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of daily phase feeding (DP) and sequential (SEQ) on behavior, performance, body composition growing-finishing pigs. Sixty barrows at 29.7 ± 2.8 kg weight (BW) were assigned one four treatments: DP with a blended proportion feeds A (high nutrient density) B (low was adjusted match 100 % amino acid (AA) diet recommendations (DP100); negative treatment, which matched 70 AA (DP70); two SEQ blend B, twice day (at 00h00 12h00), or 110 during 12 h intervals: SEQ110-70 SEQ70-110. DP70 showed lower feed consumption rate compared DP100 (p < 0.05). Compare DP100, pigs in both programs had similar average intake (ADFI), gain (ADG), efficiency ratio (G:F) fat lean mass ( p > SEQ70-110 ADFI, ADG, G:F However, greater than Overall, program does not improve performance composition. Furthermore, higher level first remainder increases deposition.

Grass silage in diets for organic growing-finishing pigs

In this study, organically raised pigs received an increasing proportion of grass silage up to 10 and 20% dry matter in the daily ration in the grower and finisher period, respectively, to determine the effects of grass silage on feed intake and growth performance. The pigs receiving a mixture of grass silage and compound feed ingested 0.3 kg DM/d (13% of their daily ration) as grass silage and...

Corn distillers dried grains with solubles in diets for growing-finishing pigs: a cooperative study.

An experiment involving 560 crossbred pigs (28 replications of 4 to 6 pigs per pen) was conducted at 9 research stations to assess the effects of dietary concentrations of corn distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) on pig performance and belly firmness. Fortified corn-soybean meal diets containing 0, 15, 30, or 45% DDGS were fed in 3 phases from 33 to 121 kg of BW. A common source of DDG...

Ileal amino acid digestibility and performance of growing pigs fed wheat-based diets supplemented with xylanase.

Two experiments were conducted to determine the effect of supplementation of xylanase to a wheat-based diet on the apparent ileal digestibility (AID) of AA and the performance of growing pigs fed diets limiting in AA. In Exp. 1, eight pigs (average initial BW = 20.5+/-1.2 kg) fitted with a simple T-cannula at the distal ileum, were fed four diets according to a repeated 4 x 4 Latin square desig...

Nitrogen balance and ileal amino acid digestibility in growing pigs fed diets reduced in protein concentration.

Two studies were conducted to assess the effect of dietary protein reduction on N utilization, N excretion, and AA digestibility in growing pigs. The objective was to determine whether pigs fed diets with a reduced CP concentration could maintain the same N retention as pigs fed an adequate diet. The second objective was to test whether reducing dietary CP concentration decreases AA digestibili...
